About White Velvet

Tradescantia sillamontana is a perennial evergreen herbaceous plant of the genus Tradescantia. This species is one of the most succulent and xerophytic, but at the same time one of the most attractive species of Tradescantia. It is endemic to dry areas of the State of Nuevo León in northeastern Mexico.

Planting

One well rooted starter size plant growing in a 2 1/2 inch pot. Plant will be a minimum of about 4 inches tall. Growing Tips: Repot your White Velvet plant immediately upon receiving in a 4 or 6 inch pot. Place it in part shade for about 1-3 days and after that move slowly to final location.
