About Button Daisy  Plant

Button Daisy plant are perennials that reach an height of about 20 cm (four inches) and flower from the late spring through to the beginning of summer. The common names for Bellis include Daisy, Bachelor’s button, Meadow daisy and English daisy. They have solitary flowers of white, pink or red. They make good plants for rockeries. Bellis perennis, is a charming perennial plant that belongs to the Asteraceae family. It is native to Europe, but it has been naturalized in many other parts of the world.  The flowers of button daisy are the highlight of the plant. They are small, daisy-like composite flowers with a bright yellow center surrounded by numerous white or pinkish-ray florets. The flowers are usually 2-3 cm (about 1 inch) in diameter and appear atop slender, leafless stalks (scape).

Planting And Care

Sunlight

  • At least 4-5 hours of sunlight a day is ideal for flowering and button daisy plant grow well in natural bright light .
