Sempervivum Arachnoideum ‘Cobweb Houseleek’ – Succulent Plant-29%
Sempervivum “Royanum” is an evergreen succulent with a creeping growth habit, which forms rosettes up to 15 cm in diameter of yellowish-green leaves, with red tips. They emit reddish-purple flowers in the shape of a star that holds hairy and vertical stems up to 50 cm long flat on the ends. Rosettes die after flowering but are replaced by new lateral rosettes. The Sempervivum “Royanum” is perfect for outdoor cultivation, both in planters and on rockery in almost all climates because it is very resistant to low temperatures (its origin is in the Alpine and Pyrenean mountains). It has the typical irrigation needs of succulents. It is advisable to plant it in an area that receives at least 6 hours of sunshine daily but also grows well with partial sun. Better to plant it outdoors in areas of soil that you want to cover, as it will spread quickly on the ground (each rosette will throw up to 4 children).
Tips to take care of the Sempervivum “Royanum”
Substratum Sempervivum thrives in poor soils.
