Soil

  • Use a well-draining soil mix specifically designed for succulents or cacti. Moreover you can also create your own mix using equal parts of sand, perlite, and potting soil.

Planting

  • Place the plant in the soil mix carefully, ensuring the roots are covered and the plant is stable. Also avoid burying the stem too deep; it should sit slightly above the soil level.

Light

Watering

Humidity for Pleiospilos nelii lithops

Fertilizer

  • Feed with a diluted, balanced fertilizer (10-10-10 or similar) during the growing season (spring and summer) once every 4-6 weeks. Avoid fertilizing during the winter dormant period.

Propagation

  • Propagate from seeds or by division. Seeds should be sown in a well-draining soil mix and kept lightly moist until germination. Division should be done carefully to avoid damaging the roots.
