Description

Grow the elegant bridal veil shrub in a fertile, well-draining acidic or neutral soil in full sun to partial shade. As the stems are often tall and unbranching, it makes a terrific shrub for the rear of the mixed border nestled among broader shrubs. The branches can be pruned back to keep the shrub shorter, but cease any tip pruning after midsummer so that the fall flowering is not reduced. It may also be grown as a large container specimen or sprawling fan-shaped espalier.
