It is a succulent plant originating in Mexico. Its leaves, shaped like jelly beans, store water and turn reddish-orange when exposed to sunlight. People often grow Sedum rubrotinctum, also known as the Jelly Bean plant, as a decorative addition to gardens or in pots. It’s quite resilient and can thrive in various soil types except for those that don’t drain well.
